AG TECH has concluded an agreement to implement a DMMS system with Polymetal Eurasia

A 3-party agreement was concluded on the development and implementation of a hardware and software complex for a point and zonal positioning system and personnel safety at the processing plant between AG TECH, AKF PIT Tech Garden and «Bakyrchik Mining Enterprise» LLP of «Polymetal Eurasia».

The implementation of this project is aimed at: 

• Development, implementation and integration of a new, unique in its characteristics, hardware and software complex of information and navigation tools for Indoor and Outdoor positioning based on the DMMS system.
• Creation of a highly effective personnel monitoring system based on the use of “smart” wearable devices functioning on the basis of modern wireless data transmission technologies. 
• Increasing the level of industrial safety, labor protection and reducing the risk of industrial injuries at the enterprise. Increasing the efficiency of technological and business processes of an enterprise.

System functionality: 

• Online monitoring of personnel movement throughout the enterprise. 
• Monitoring the presence of personnel in hazardous areas. 
• Functions of the access control and control system via NFC. 
• Possibility of communication with the dispatcher (SOS signal and confirmation of requests). 
• Detection of cases of falling over and prolonged absence of movement of an employee (accelerometer).
• Tools for data analysis, assessing labour efficiency and making operational management decisions. 
• Wide integration possibilities with the majority of information systems for enterprises (ERP, 1C, BI, etc.).

 
The result is achieved through the implementation of high-precision and zonal positioning systems for personnel at in-shop, sample preparation, sample separation, storage and repair departments, grinding, flotation, thickening areas, as well as in adjacent areas: finished product warehouses, in the coarse crushing building, EMS hangars and container site.

During the implementation of the project, results will be obtained that are innovative and original in methods and approaches. Fundamentally new specialized models for assessing the level of radio signals will be developed, taking into account the Harsh Environment (aggressive environment conditions). Based on the obtained models, methods for deploying local and zonal Indoor positioning networks (UWB and BLE) at industrial facilities will be created in accordance with the agriculture of implementation.

The experience of implementing similar projects was implemented at more than 15 industrial facilities.But the closest in content to the implemented project is a system for high-precision positioning of personnel in the conditions of the grinding, thickening and flotation sections of the BF, at the Balkhash processing plant of «Kazakhmys Corporation» LLP.
