Alexander Podvalov attended the GIS Day Kazakhstan conference at Al-Farabi KazNU

On November 18, the International Conference GIS Day Kazakhstan was held in the library of Al-Farabi KazNU, which was attended by Alexander Podvalov along with his students.

The main goal of the conference is to unite like-minded people in the field of geographic information systems. This event was dedicated to International GIS Day.

The conference was attended by international companies such as FAO, Whoosh, Leica and national companies - Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary, KazAeroSpace, etc. There were also a lot of speakers from universities - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nazarbayev university, Université Grenoble Alpes, who shared their experiences and research.

At AG TECH, GIS technology is an important tool that we use to create positioning system solutions. These technologies allow us to analyze, visualize, build routes and tie objects to geographic coordinates on the surface and underground.

Our team is already developing a new module of the DMMS production management system - "Mining Planning". And next year we plan to present this solution at the GIS Day 2024 conference.
